Grant Herrmann Announces Expansion to Miami

09/27/2021
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Grant, Herrmann, Schwartz & Klinger LLP has opened a new office in Miami, Florida. The opening of this office expands our footprint to South Florida, positioning us for continued growth and to better serve our valued clients.

The firm’s Miami office will be led by new partner, Megan Campos. Megan’s practice focuses on international tax and estate planning for high-net-worth, cross-border families. She has extensive experience advising on the structuring of U.S. real estate investments for non-U.S. persons, cross-border matters related to trusts and trust-like structures, and both pre-immigration and expatriation planning. The core of her practice focuses on creating tax-efficient structures for multinational families that preserve their wealth while at the same time taking into consideration their non-tax objectives. Megan also has experience with international tax compliance and multi-jurisdictional business and corporate matters, and serves as a Florida Civil Law Notary. She is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish, and her clients are traditionally from across Latin America and Europe.

Joining Megan in Miami is associate Gessimbergue (“Gessie”) Monteiro. Gessie’s practice focuses on U.S. and international tax and estate planning, including the preparation of wills and trusts, pre-immigration tax planning, business succession planning, wealth transfer and preservation planning, and U.S. and international tax and reporting compliance. Gessie was born and raised in Brazil, and he is a native Portuguese speaker who is also fluent in Spanish.

Of Counsel to the firm in Miami is attorney Jennifer Sily Heslin. Jennifer focuses her practice on counseling both foreign and domestic high-net-worth individuals in all aspects of the purchase and sale of real estate in Florida. Jennifer is a Brazilian native and is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish.
